Island Peak Climbing is one of the fantastic experience of the enthusiastic trekkers in the Khumbu region of Nepal. Island peak climbing is also known as Imje Tse peak climbing, which offers us superb spectacular views of entire Khumbu from the top of Island and other breathtaking Himalayas such as; Nuptse, Lhotse middle and Shar, Cho Polu, and sometimes Mt. Makalu from the east side.  Island peak is one of the famous and main climbing peaks in the Khumbu region of Nepal as it is suitable for all experienced trekkers and novice climbers. Island Peak Climbing let you have an exhilarating climbing experience to stand on a summit of the wonderful mountain at 6189 meters, which provide you unforgettable memory and feel you're a sense of accomplishment as you are on the top of Mt. Everest. Island peak climbing let you visit Kalapathar, which is the perfect place to view sensational mountain vista and excellent photo spot. We can enjoy the most beautiful Himalayas views such as; Mt. Everest, Nuptse Mountains, Lhotse, and many mores at once. Besides the Himalayas, you will also get chances to enjoy with icefall in Khumbu, situated at the head of the Khumbu Glacier. The summit of Island also offers you an awesome mountains view.
Island Peak Climbing is physically demanding expedition as it needs medical trained and experienced group leader to lead your trip, and safety back up like a medical box, rope, and Oxygen to cope with future problems that may arise. You will be guided by experienced and qualified staff before climbing, who helps you to for your safety and accomplish successful summit. Our 19 days Island peaks climbing begins from Kathmandu to Lukla with scenic aerial views of Green and white mountains. From Lukla, we begin our official trek towards Island Peak.

Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft): 5-6 hours
Day 05: Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,283 ft): Acclimatization Day
Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft): 5- 6 hours
Day 07: Tengboche to Pheriche (4,200m/13,776ft): 4-5 hours

Day 18:  Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,800m/9,186ft): 6-7 hours

Day 20: Final Departure
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft) 
As you arrive at the Kathmandu Tribhuvan International airport, our representative will receive you and he/she will drop you to your hotel, where you can have a rest and be fresh. In the evening, you will be welcome for the Nepalese dinner in the Nepali restaurant. Overnight at Hotel.
 
Day 02: Kathmandu (1300m/4264ft): trip preparation 
After a pleasing night in the hotel, today, we will take you to visit major world heritage sites in Kathmandu Valley. You will visit; Pashupatinath temple, a pilgrimage site for Hindu and Buddhist, Boudhanath Stupa, Syambhunath and Royal Kathmandu Durbar Square. In the evening, our representative will provide you with a brief explanation about the trek and you need to be prepared and put all the necessary equipment’s which are needed for the coming trip. Overnight at hotel.
 
Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2,800m/9,184ft) then trek to Phakding (2,652m/8,700ft): 40 min flight, 3-4 hours trek
Next day. after early breakfast, we will take a domestic flight for Lukla from the Kathmandu. Around 30 minutes scenic flight offers you an areal view of the various breathtaking green and the White Mountains. It will be our one of the most beautiful air routes in the world that culminated in the Lukla, the hillside place is surrounded by high mountains. As we arrive at Lukla, we do some rest and after some rest, we begin our official trek towards Phakding through the prosperous village of Lukla. As we reach to Phakding we can take a side trip to a nearby monastery. Overnight in Phakding.
 
Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft): 5-6 hours 
After early breakfast, we can continue our trail towards Namche Bazaar through the beautiful pine forests and then along Dudh Koshi River. Almost one hours walk takes us to the glistening Mt. Thamserku (6,608m) and further trail follow the serenity of pine, fir and juniper forests throughout our journey. On the way, we can have a glimpse of Mt. Everest and Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. We continue our trail and enter into the Sagarmatha National Park, the gateway to Mt. Everest and main trading center of this region. And finally, reach Namche Bazaar by crossing beautiful five suspensions. Overnight at Namche Bazaar. 
 
Day 05: Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/11,283 ft): Acclimatization Day 
Today we will stay at Namche Bazaar for the rest and you can enjoy at Namche Bazar which offers you ATM services and other cyber cafés, finger licking delicious restaurants, bakery, colorful market. In this day, you can explore Sagarmatha National Park (Everest) and explore various flora and fauna. Today you can also encounter with Traditional Sherpa village called Khumjung and their unique culture and traditions. You can also hike up to the Everest view Hotel have a splendid view of MT. Everest, Thamserku, Ama Dablam, Everest, Khaantaiga and many more. Overnight at Namche Bazaar.
 
Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft): 5- 6 hours 
As morning raises, after having breakfast, we will continue our trail towards Tongboche through the Dudh Koshi River and cross the suspension bridge over Dudh Koshi River. The further trail leads us to Tenboche through the pine and juniper forest. You can explore famous Gomba (Tengboche Monastery) which is surrounded by the Mt. Ama Dablam, Nupte, Mt. Everest and many more peaks on the background. Overnight at Tongboche.
 
Day 07: Tengboche to Pheriche (4,200m/13,776ft): 4-5 hours 
Today we will leave Tengboche monastery, an excellent location, surrounded by the Himalayas and we descend for about half an hour through a beautiful forest before crossing a river and reach to a traditional Sherpa village of Pangboche from where we can have a stunning view of Ama Dablam (a most beautiful mountain in Everest region). The further trail follows Imja River and Lobuche river and finally reach to Dingboche the last Sherpa settlement and reach to Pheriche, Overnight in Pheriche.
 
Day 08: Acclimatization’s at Pheriche
After morning breakfast, you can make a short trek to Nagarjuna hills (5050 m) for best views of Mt. Makalu and other adjoining mountains. You will also visit Imjatse valley which provide you unbelievable views of Island Peak, Lhotse Shar, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Amadablam. After explorations Nagarjuna hill we will returnback to Pheriche for rest. Stay overnight at Pheriche.
 
Day 09: Pheriche to Lobuche (4,930m/16,170ft): 5-6 hours 
In this day, after having early breakfast, we depart the village of Pheriche and head towards Lobuche, situated at the elevation of 4940m. Our trail climbs to the towering view of Tawache peak & Cholatse. The Trail continues to the Khumbu Glacier through the Yak grazing pasture to Dhukla (4620 /15158ft), wooden bridge on roaring stream. This place offers you an awesome view of Khumbutse (6623m), Lingtren (6697), Pumori (7145 m) and Mahalangur Himal and reaches to Lobuche. Overnight at Lobuche.
 
Day 10: Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5170 m/16,961ft), visit Everest Base Camp (5364m/17,594ft): 6-7 hours 
As morning raises, we can have an early breakfast and continue out trail towards Gorak Shep, at the summit of 5160m. Today’s trail follows quite a rocky trail on the north ridge to Everest along with Mt. Pumori, Mahalangur, Lingtern, Khumbutse, Nuptse, and many more. The trail continues alongside Khumbu Glacier to Gorakshep and visits world’s highest base camp of Everest. On the way back to Gorak Shep, you can view fantastic Khumbu Icefall and colorful campsite of Everest expedition. Overnight at Gorakshep.
 
Day 11: Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5545m/18,192ft) and back to Lobuche (4940m/16,207ft): 7-8 hours 
We continue our trail after having early breakfast. We head towards Kala Patthar, situated at the altitude of 5545m. Today early morning we can enjoy with the sunrise from top of the Lingtren, Khumbutse, and Changtse tower with the (Mt. Everest), which is amazing to view panoramic view with the fantastic sunrise over Mt. Everest, Mt. Ama Dablam, Khumbutse, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lingtren, Changtse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nupte, and many more.  As you reach to Kala Patthar, we can trek down to Gorakshep and trek back to Lobuche. Overnight in Lobuche.
 
 
 
 
Day 12: Lobuche to Kongma La (5,535m/18,159ft) to Chhukung (4,730m/15,518ft): 6-7 hours 
Next morning, we will leave a beautiful village of Lobuche and heads toward Kongma La, situated at the summit of 5,535m. On the way, we will follow the Khumbu Glacier to Kongma La Base Camp (5,000m/16,404ft). Further we ascent and reach to Kongma La pass, where we can cairn wrapped in prayer flags to mark the pass. Then after we head towards downhill progressively to Imja Khola valley, followed by another descent to Chhukung, a small summer settlement. Overnight in Chhukung.
 
Day 13: Chhukung to Island Peak base camp (5,200m/17,060ft): 3-4 hours 
Today, after early breakfast, we trek towards Island Peak Base Camp from Chhukung. We will follow a fairly steep trail and climb south and then trek to the winding path below the Lhotse Glacier. Further, we will have a gentle trail along a streamside. The route to the Amphu Labtsa lies to the southeast and goes further through the Imja and Lhotse glacier moraines which takes us to the Island Peak. Overnight at Island Peak Base Camp.
 
Day 14: Pre-climb training on Island Peak Base Camp 
Today, after early breakfast, we continue our pre-climb training by following our guides who will provide us training on peak climbing techniques and the proper ways of using climbing gears such as the climbing boots, ice ax, and crampons, ascender, harness, and many more essential factors. In this training, you will also learn about using ropes to go up and down. In order to boost your confidence and ability to enjoy the climbing, we provide you a pre-climbing training however it is not mandatory. Today, we spend rest day practicing to climb in the high camp and rest for the next day. Overnight at the base camp. 
 
Day 15: Island Peak base camp to Island Peak summit (6,189m/20,305ft), back to base camp: 10-12 hours
Today we continue our climbing early in the morning because we need to be back to the base camp after reaching the Island peak summit. We will continue our trail by climbing up the hill in the narrow slop and our trek enters a steep rock channel. The way is quite challenging today even though the scenic surrounding compensates it. We will climb rock gully, you will find several short rock steps to climb where you need to follows a ridgeline, which leads you to an exhilarating summit glacier. You should not worry because there will be a guide with you when you need to. If you feel, you need a rope then your guide will fix it to make your trail safe. In this way, you will reach the summit with your guide and enjoy the summit. You will be amazed to find yourself on the summit of Island peak and view splendid mountains view from the peak. After you finish to explore and enjoy the summit views and capturing the images, we will descend to the Island Peak Base Camp. As we come back to Island Peak Base Camp, we will enjoy and celebrate our successful Island Peak climbing. Overnight at Base Camp.
 
Day 16: Island Peak Base Camp to Pangboche (3,985m/13,074ft) 5-6 hours 
Next morning, after early breakfast, we will head towards Pangboche, situated at the elevation of 3985m. Today we will make the easy trail as we descend to the lower altitudes. We will follow the same path back through the wide valley of Khumbu Khola, we will pass the beautiful Sherpa villages, Shomare and Orsho and reach to Pangboche. A beautiful village called Pangboche is surrounded by Everest to its north, Thamserku, Kangtaiga and Ama Dablam, to the east, the Kongde range to the south and the Imja Tse river flowing through the wide fertile valley which makes your trip worth visiting. Overnight at Pangboche. 
 
Day 17: Pangboche to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,286ft): 4-5 hours 
Today, after early breakfast, we leave Pangboche and retrace our steps down to the Imja Khola by following the forest we will reach to Tengboche. We can visit Tengboche monastery and continue our trail by following the hillside which is filled with beautiful rhododendron and juniper trees. The further trail will follow the Dudh Koshi River and encounter with the wildlife such as mountain goats, colorful pheasants, snow leopards, and many more and finally reach to Namche Bazaar.  Overnight in Namche Bazaar.
 
Day 18:  Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,800m/9,186ft): 6-7 hours 
In this day, our trail descends steeply downward to Likla, at the elevation of 2800m. During our trail, we will cross the beautiful suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River and the further trail will lead us to the Lukla. In the evening, you can explore the Lukla and stay overnight in Lukla. 
 
Day 19: Fly to Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft) 
Today you will end your trek here and after early breakfast, you will take a morning flight to Kathmandu from Lukla. Around 30 minutes flight offers you a splendid areal mountain views for the last time. As you reach the Kathmandu, you can take a rest and, in the evening, you can do some souvenir shopping. You can also enjoy farewell dinner in the Nepali Restaurant which represents typical Nepali Culture. Overnight in Kathmandu. 
 
Day 20: Final Departure 
Today you end your adventure in Nepal. Our representative will take you to the airport and helps to find your flight to reach your final destination. We hope that you will plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal.
